With fresh paint and new moldings in place, the family room was reworked with custom built-ins flanking the fireplace. The white palette allowed Dawn to experiment with mod furnishings details—bringing a contrasting mix of reclaimed seating, an ultra-durable rug, textured backdrops and brass statements.
Dawn opted for an open floor plan to accommodate the growing family and gatherings of all ages. A low sectional offers extra seating and acts as a defining moment between the living and kitchen spaces. A bar counter with cozy high back stools makes the kitchen a flex space for overflow. A warm wood family table with bench seating offers a central gathering place for daily meals.
The dining room lies off the foyer. It is a formal mix of traditional design featuring custom modern wingback chairs, quartz light fixture and wooden oval table.
With the open floor plan in place, the foyer welcomed a classy bannister and ebony statement chandelier.
The adjacent living room was updated with a mix of contemporary and Danish modern styles. Center-faced seating creates balance and sets the tone for casual conversation. Art-deco inspired details give the space a feeling of warmth.
A custom-designed patio set resides just outside the pool—intended for leisure and good company throughout the seasons.
Renovation included living room, kitchen, dining room, entryway, family room and back patio.
