Linda’s plan began with a complete redo of the living room, replacing original carpeting with a cement floor to achieve a contemporary feel.

Linda revamped the space from the floor up—walls and baseboards painted a clean white, and window trim with a metallic black. The fireplace was refinished with white porcelain tile and custom walnut mantle. A striped wall covering spans vertically above, resembling the windows for sense of spacial unity.

With a clean, neutral palette in place, curated details were introduced to bring personality—an astrological print, a handcrafted Himalayan rug, gold sconces and the family’s cherished leather sectional. The main stairs were reimagined with a metal and wood rail for a rhythmic ascent.
